They have a rigid, wide fitting shell with a very thick liner. The lacing runs through both the boot and the liner, providing a secure fit. Additionally, it has a ratchet instep strap - an upgrade from the velcro strap on the FRX.
This model has embedded metal plates inside the boot, which provide an incredibly strong mount to the frame, increasing power transfer and precision. They also have multiple mounting holes allowing for a larger variety of frames and fine tuning of frame position.
Their X2R frame is rockerable - allowing you to set your wheels flat for stability or rockered (raising the outer wheels 1mm) for manoeuvrability.
